This is Pop? is an exhibition of drawings, paintings and collages that harks back to a time when Pop music could be challenging, innovative and popular all at the same time.

Geoff Spiers intricate coloured pencil drawings made between 1979 and 1981 portray contemporary Pop figures of the time. These are supplemented with more recent paintings that adopt a more surrealist approach to the same subject.

Silvio Severino takes pop personalities and subverts them through analog collage to challenge our perceptions of what is Pop.
