ABOUT THE ARTIST
ÉANNA HEAVEY
Éanna Heavey is a West Cork-based multidisciplinary artist currently pursuing an MA in Art, Psyche, and the Creative Imagination at TUS Limerick. Working across experimental film, analogue photography, and mixed media, Éanna’s practice explores the intersections of psyche, memory, masculinity, and queerness, navigating thresholds between the personal and the collective. Influenced by psycho-social realities, his work investigates the complexities of the male psyche and how institutional and cultural structures shape identity, belonging, and transformation.
Since graduating from Crawford College of Art and Design in 2018, Éanna has exhibited locally and nationally, is a member of Sample Studios, and is a founding member of the f-project collective with Cork Film Centre. His current research traces pathways between fragmentation and becoming, shadow and emergence, exploring the body and landscape as sites of transformation.
