In Bambis, Slugs and Other Cosmonauts, artist Silvio Severino, using found photography and assembly images in both analogue and digital format, explores the online landscape of social media, sexuality, consumerism and popular music with a surreal sense of humour.

Silvio Severino aka loop_conspiracy is a multimedia artist whose practice includes photography, analogue and digital collage, experimental filmmaking and illustration.

He is an active member of the international collage community and has been involved in festivals as well as collective and individual exhibitions around Europe. His work has been published in blogs, magazines and books, and locally he has created posters and trailers for the Indie Cork Film Festival and Pride.

Silvio is originally from south Brazil and is now based in Cork, Ireland.
