Tiffani Love is an American-born artist who lives and works in the west of Ireland. She received her BFA in 2017 from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh and her MFA in 2022 from the Burren College of Art and NUI Galway.

“As a landscape painter, my process involves walking through the landscape, observing and experiencing it directly from life. The rhythm of my walking mimics the rhythms of the natural world and is paralleled by the physical act of making a painting. Each painting becomes a shared conversation between the landscape, myself and the viewer.“

The terrain along the Atlantic coast is complex and layered, both geologically and historically. It is worn by the rains that fall, the winds that blow, the tides that ebb and flow, and the many effects and changes of generations of people.
