“Strategies (of simultaneous presence and invisibility )” is the final instalment of Laurie Legrand's research on the delicate balance of standing one's ground in times when protection and rights are given as quickly as they are taken away, and personal data is routinely taken for ransom. 

Through painting, writing and installation, the exhibition explores the creation of myths, interweaving effaced portraits, codified mark making, and figures shining their light, spilling their sacred findings, creating a feeling of reverence conveyed by the vulnerability of this act. 

The surrounding images allude to identity, survival, magic, chaos and redemption, reflecting on the ecstatic fertility of Nature - constant regeneration and transformation, flowing with life, beauty and destruction, an unstoppable pulse of chaos, order and resilience.
