ABOUT THE ARTIST
DAVID MANNO
Dave Manno is a figurative artist working in pastel and charcoal. His work investigates the tension provoked by the human form, the constraints of intimacy and the unarticulated spaces between viewer and body. He received in Bachelor in Fine Arts from Concordia University in 2009, and has exhibited in group shows between Montreal, Canada and his home town of New York City, USA. His work has been published in print and online, notably in Yo-NEWYORK! and ArtAscent, and was the recipient of the National Art League’s Blick Honorable Mention award in Queens, NY. He is currently an MFA candidate in studio arts at the Burren College of Art in Ballyvaughan, Co Clare, Ireland, where he is anticipated to receive his degree in 2025.
